Dr.Lee has defined the signs of progesterone deficiency for women over 35 years of age to include swollen breasts, depression, low thyroid, fibro cystic breasts, water retention, hot flashes, weight gain, and loss of libido. Female Health & Beauty.
Derived from the Mexican Wild Yam and converted to Progesterone, it is an exact match to the body’s own progesterone.
Jerilyn C. Pryor, MD, an endocrinology professor at the University of British Columbia, found through testing that 50 per cent of the women in North America are severely deficient in progesterone by age 35 and that, during the menopausal years, progesterone levels decrease to almost zero while estrogen levels only decrease by 40 to 60 per cent. Dr. Lee defines this syndrome as estrogen dominance. When this hormonal imbalance occurs, the estrogen becomes toxic to the body.

Progesterone is a hormone produced by the ovaries of menstruating women and is made in smaller amounts by the adrenal glands. It is a precursor to other steroid hormones. It is a major contributor to the balancing of all hormones.
Signs and Symptoms of Estrogen Dominance Water Retention, Edema, Breast Swelling, Fibrocystic Breasts Premenstrual Mood Swings, Depression, Loss of Libido Sex Drive, Heavy or Irregular Menses, Uterine Fibroid, Craving For Sweets, Weight Gain, Fat Deposits at Hips and Thighs
WHY USE NATURAL PROGESTERONE?
In many women, young and old, the production of progesterone is affected by the environment. Some chicken and beef are hormone fed, as well as other environmental factors such as fertilizers, pesticides or petroleum base products.
Where Should I Apply Natural progesterone in a moisturizing cream can be applied to the face, neck, inner arms, chest, breasts, hands or soles of the feet. The cream is readily absorbed and leaves no trace after a few minutes. During absorption the cream by-passes the liver and goes to specific receptor sites where progesterone is needed.
How Do I Use The Cream? Most women have reported a complete cessation of symptoms in 3 to 12 weeks Please Note: One-inch strip of cream from the pump equals ¼ tsp. Find the category that best describes your situation:
IF YOU ARE: Postmenopause (not menstruating), have had a Hysterectomy, Oophorectomy (removal of ovaries), or have Osteoporosis: Use 1/8 tsp. twice a day. After three months, reduce to 1/16 tsp. twice a day. Do not use the first week of each month to give receptors a break.
Note: Occasionally, upon beginning use of natural progesterone, a postmenopausal woman could experience some breakthrough bleeding. This is the body’s way of getting rid of excess estrogen. If this continues longer than several months, you should consult a physician.
If you are breastfeeding and experience symptoms of PMS, Postpartum Depression, or Estrogen Dominance, you may use natural progesterone cream no sooner than 30 days after delivery. Use 1/16 tsp twice daily for three weeks per month until regular cycle occurs, then resume usage as a woman menstruating.
Menstruating on a monthly cycle:
Use 1/8 tsp twice a day after ovulation (usually 12 or 14 days from the first day of menstrual flow) through day 26 of your cycle. You do not use natural progesterone while menstruating. However, if you experience menstrual cramps, try rubbing a small amount of cream on the lower abdomen. For migraines, rub cream on the back of your neck.
Pre-Teen and Teens 100 lbs or less:
Use 1/16 tsp. of cream twice a day after ovulation (usually days 12 or 14) through day 26, for 3 to 6 months. If symptoms return, resume using cream to maintain good hormonal balance.
Experiencing Endometriosis or Uterine Fibroids:
Use 1/8 to 1/4tsp. of cream twice a day beginning on the 8th day of your cycle until the 26th day. After 6 months, use 1/8 tsp. twice a day after ovulation (usually day 12 or 14) through day 26.
Wanting to get Pregnant: Use 1/8 tsp. twice a day, days 8 thru 26 for two months. On the third month, use 1/8 tsp. twice day, the day following ovulation through day 26. If there is a possibility of pregnancy, DO NOT stop using the cream until you take a pregnancy test at day 26. If negative, then resume scheduled use. If test is positive, use as directed for pregnancy.
Use 1/8 tsp. three times a day from conception. In third trimester, gradually decrease and discontinue 2 weeks before scheduled delivery time. Apply primarily to abdomen, breasts, lower back, and upper thighs (where it will help prevent stretch marks).

Happy PMS + Pump
I highly recommend this product. For menopause it sure helps with symptoms. Can't make it through the day without it.
I read the symtoms an imbalance in hormones could cause and I was shocked at how many I had. Started using the Happy PMS cream twice a day and boom am feeling much better. I sleep better. I combine mine with estriol cream as well
When used on a regular basis it stops my hair from falling out. I have found that using a smaller dose, than recommended, several times throughout the day works better than once in the morning and once at night. I highly recommend the product!
