WHAT IS NATURAL PROGESTERONE? Progesterone is a hormone produced by the ovaries of menstruating women and is made in smaller amounts by the adrenal glands. It is a precursor to other steroid hormones. It is a major contributor to the balancing of all hormones.

Derived from the Mexican Wild Yam and converted to Progesterone, it is an exact match to the body’s own progesterone.

Jerilyn C. Pryor, M.D., an endocrinology professor at the University of British Columbia, found through testing that 50% of the women in North America are severely deficient in progesterone by age 35 and that during the menopausal years, progesterone levels decrease to almost zero while estrogen levels only decrease by 40 to 60 percent. Dr. John R. Lee defines this as “estrogen dominance”. When this hormonal imbalance occurs, the estrogen becomes toxic to the body. Treatment with natural progesterone restores the balance between these two female hormones, eliminating the need for synthetic hormone therapy and the undesirable side effects.

WHY USE NATURAL PROGESTERONE?

In many women, young and old, the production of progesterone is affected by the environment. Some chicken and beef are hormone fed, as well as other environmental factors such as fertilizers, pesticides or petroleum base products.

 Directions

Where Should I Apply Natural progesterone in a moisturizing cream can be applied to the face, neck, inner arms, chest, breasts, hands or soles of the feet. The cream is readily absorbed and leaves no trace after a few minutes. During absorption the cream by-passes the liver and goes to specific receptor sites where progesterone is needed.

How Do I Use The Cream? Most women have reported a complete cessation of symptoms in 3 to 12 weeks Please Note: One-inch strip of cream from the pump equals ¼ tsp. Find the category that best describes your situation:

IF YOU ARE: Postmenopause (not menstruating), have had a Hysterectomy, Oophorectomy (removal of ovaries), or have Osteoporosis: Use 1/8 tsp. twice a day. After three months, reduce to 1/16 tsp. twice a day. Do not use the first week of each month to give receptors a break.

Note: Occasionally, upon beginning use of natural progesterone, a postmenopausal woman could experience some breakthrough bleeding. This is the body’s way of getting rid of excess estrogen. If this continues longer than several months, you should consult a physician.

BreastFeeding
If you are breastfeeding and experience symptoms of PMS, Postpartum Depression, or Estrogen Dominance, you may use natural progesterone cream no sooner than 30 days after delivery. Use 1/16 tsp twice daily for three weeks per month until regular cycle occurs, then resume usage as a woman menstruating.

Menstruating on a monthly cycle:
Use 1/8 tsp twice a day after ovulation (usually 12 or 14 days from the first day of menstrual flow) through day 26 of your cycle. You do not use natural progesterone while menstruating. However, if you experience menstrual cramps, try rubbing a small amount of cream on the lower abdomen. For migraines, rub cream on the back of your neck.

Pre-Teen and Teens 100 lbs or less:
Use 1/16 tsp. of cream twice a day after ovulation (usually days 12 or 14) through day 26, for 3 to 6 months. If symptoms return, resume using cream to maintain good hormonal balance.

Experiencing Endometriosis or Uterine Fibroids:
Use 1/8 to 1/4tsp. of cream twice a day beginning on the 8th day of your cycle until the 26th day. After 6 months, use 1/8 tsp. twice a day after ovulation (usually day 12 or 14) through day 26.

Wanting to get Pregnant: Use 1/8 tsp. twice a day, days 8 thru 26 for two months. On the third month, use 1/8 tsp. twice day, the day following ovulation through day 26. If there is a possibility of pregnancy, DO NOT stop using the cream until you take a pregnancy test at day 26. If negative, then resume scheduled use. If test is positive, use as directed for pregnancy.

During Pregnancy:
Use 1/8 tsp. three times a day from conception. In third trimester, gradually decrease and discontinue 2 weeks before scheduled delivery time. Apply primarily to abdomen, breasts, lower back, and upper thighs (where it will help prevent stretch marks).

NOTE: Do not use for at least one month after delivery if you are breast-feeding.

    Natural Balance is Back!

Posted by Marie on 3rd May 2019

Been on it for a year and half. Recommended by a friend who had similar symtoms. I had no idea my hormones were out of whack and cycles were heavy/irregular. First month you can expect a delayed cycle (mine was about 45 days). Then like clockwork after that. It beats the side effects of synthetic products. Try it for a few months and see what happens!

    Best cream!

Posted by Meredith on 21st Feb 2018

I had a severe hormonal imbalance with about 50 symptoms all at one time. My functional medicine doctor/OB/GYN, recommended this cream to me. I’ve been using it for two years now and I will not go without it. It helps me tremendously! It helps me tremendously! And there are no side effects like there are with synthetic progesterone. I just use a chocolate chip size amount two times a day – morning and night. One pump will last for several months too.

For hot flashes, it's not the same as Restored Balance

Posted by Cindy Bodner on 30th Jan 2015

I used the last of my Restored Balance last week. This week, I started on Women's Touch. For me, it was like using nothing at all. I know you are supposed to give your body a rest for a week, every month, which I do. The effects of Women's Touch was the same as using nothing. How can that be if it is the same formula? Very disappointed. I was foolish to buy 4 bottles. I guess it's a nice moisturizer.

Pretty good product. Not as good as Restored Balance. Didn't feel as well on this product.
